“Design Uprising: A Jim Thompson Textile Installation” aims to encourage and support emerging talented designers by providing them with access to Jim Thompson fabrics and materials, giving them the opportunity to showcase their creativity. We also promote the use of our fabrics and materials in innovative ways, encouraging new, fresh interpretations of home furnishing textiles. This initiative offers designers the chance to have their work showcased, allowing them to gain visibility within the design community and connect with industry professionals at the Jim Thompson Flagship Showroom, our central location on Surawong Road. This installation not only supports the creativity and innovation of the new generation of designers but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of the heritage and craftsmanship behind Jim Thompson's fabric collections.
