Creating green spaces in cities is already challenging, but AP Thai’s ‘Bird Journey’ project goes even further by promoting biodiversity. A simple way to measure success? The return of migratory birds that once disappeared from Bangkok’s skies.

No need to bring binoculars to Bangkok Design Week (BKKDW) just yet—it will take time for ‘Bird Journey’ to grow. But at this year’s event, an exhibition will introduce the three key factors that make urban microforests possible.

Visitors can explore these ideas through fun activities like the ‘Layered Stamp Rally,’ where you collect stamps representing different forest layers, or ‘Yom Pa Gashapon,’ which features bird model capsules and a mini migration map showing project locations already in progress.
