SATARANA

Chinese Opera story books and exhibitions

Chinese Opera is an art form that has been around for many decades and has been popular in the past. It, also, expresses the richness of culture in each era with its charm. As time passed, its popularity began to decline among today's new generation. Therefore, it became a piece of work that wanted to present another form of Chinese opera storytelling by turning it into a cartoon style to make it easier to access and understand. The exhibition showcases the artwork in the form of a fairy tale book by Bow-Sirada Suwannaphaisal, a renowned cartoonist with a passion for storytelling in historical areas such as Yaowarat and Talat Noi. Her influence in these narratives has been a source of inspiration for creative work. Additionally, the event includes activities such as cartoon coloring sessions and other activities within the venue.
