'Changing the world from the kitchen'

‘Changing The World From The Kitchen’ Eco-kitchen to eco-world "In small steps we trust" Sustainable architecture and design have moved to the forefront in recent decades, supporting the idea that "to change the world, all we need are mutual small steps for a big impact". These small steps can start right in the kitchen, from the smallest of details, like what materials are chosen. STONE AND STYLE has made moves to tackle the challenges of sustainability in design, redesigning its 230-square-meter gallery to be 6 kitchens acting as 6 exhibitions displaying its small steps. Zone 1: Kitchen Garden Turning kitchens into a small herb garden. A showcase of vertical gardens using indoor house plants and creative pot plants. Visitors will receive complimentary herb seeds to start their own change to the world. Zone 2: Sorting Kitchen A showcase of how to categorize and recycle waste in the kitchen in assistance of recycling organizations. Zone 3: Zero-waste Kitchen See how to have a zero waste kitchen through processes such as making fertilizer from food waste. This space will also feature installation art on waste water management technology. Zone 4: Creative Kitchen Be a kitchen designer for the day. View design solutions for setting up a kitchen that fits the urban lifestyle. Zone 5: Safe Kitchen With health being the new wealth, the Safe Kitchen reveals materials that are safe for direct contact with food and countertop care techniques for better kitchen safety. Zone 6: Future Kitchen What is the future kitchen? This zone provides a space to brainstorm concepts such as renewable energy in the kitchen.
