SAMMAKORN Shuttle Boat "Let Sammakorn take care of you" Sammakorn Development is one of Thailand's first village projects. Having operated for more than 50 years, the service is a part of everyday life and has developed its own heritage. Participants of Bangkok Design Week will have the opportunity to learn about the attention to detail that has kept this service running and the good care it has long provided. Through Medium, hear the story of these ferry boats, elders who have long served people crossing the river, and how they are being reinvigorated for a more contemporary look as they shuttle people between Thonburi and Bangkok. Sammakorn Shuttle Boat wishes to communicate the traditional Bangkok lifestyle to the newer generation using its ferries and exhibition.
