From the phrase "generation to generation", the title of this showcase reflects how it seeks to tell the stories of Thai-Chinese descendants in Bangkok's Yaowarat area which have been passing on their lifestyles and beliefs through the generations on the ceramics and jewelry they design. Designing pieces for this display, actual Yaowarat communities were surveyed and research was even done into the transitions between eras. These stories were used to inform Chinese style ceramic paintings, paying homage to how the community has passed along its stories through the generations, as can be seen in its murals and other wall art. Using this technique, the collection consists of a range of accessories, including crowns, earrings, bracelets, and rings.
