มา สวน กัน Very welcome!
This year's Bangkok Design Week “Where should we go?”
We invite you to “visit the garden” at “Wat Hua Lamphong Rukkhaniwet Park”
From abandoned land to a new mini garden in the heart of the city. 'Wat Hua Lamphong Rukkhaniwet Park' has officially opened for service today. As a new public green space that can be reached within 5 minutes, the park is a garden designed under the concept of 'The garden next door' created by the development of the wasteland through a process of participation from everyone involved. Make it a real public space for people
The space in front of Hua Lamphong Temple is 1,048 square meters. It used to be an abandoned area that created insecurity. But when it was developed, the word deserted is no longer a term used to define this area. Since area becomes the connection point to important roads. It is also close to educational institutions both at the school and university level and close to the train station and subway station. This area, therefore, has the potential to be developed into a green public space for people to use; Both for local people and people passing by in this area
Wat Hua Lamphong Rukkhaniwet Park Development Project is one of the four pilot areas of the we!park project that seeks to create sustainable small green public spaces through a process of participation at every step, including participation with local people. The space is open for outsiders to come and try and raise funds for everyone to have the opportunity to own this garden together as we believe that participatory processes will make any development.
Today, the garden next to Ban Nam 'Wat Hua Lamphong Rukkhaniwet Park' has officially opened for service. Ready to welcome everyone to participate in various activities such as Play at Park, Chill at Bar, Chair at Lawn, Look at Light and Share on IG during the Bangkok Design Festival or Bangkok Design Week 2022
As the host of we!park with network partners from various sectors Both government and private sectors and students and students invite everyone to “come to park” on February 11-13, 2022 at Hua Lamphong Rukkhaniwet Temple Park
