“Krung Kwan” references the traditional Thai flower garlands seen in the palaces and temples of Thailand. “Krung Kwan” garlands are often hung in doors in windows as decorations and are thought to bring luck to the areas they adorn. Thai people take pride in the craft of constructing these garlands, some examples are extremely intricate. The traditional garland is transformed in this design to a modern and simplified shadow. We aim to reference the traditional while still maintaining the sleek simplicity of a modern door
